Individuals at international

You want to upgrade your skills, to achieve a specific qualification or to enrol in a training programme that does not exist in your country.

Here is how to benefit from AFPA services:

1. Choose a training programme

You have to define your professional plan and choose a programme.
AFPA offers more than 300 certified courses at every level and in every professional sector.

2. Enrolment Conditions

Non-E.U. citizens

You can enrol in AFPA training programmes, but you have to find support for:

  • your training expenses
  • the round-trip from your country to the AFPA training centre you selected
  • your accommodation and transport
  • your individual casualty and liability insurance

Support can come from:

  • your country’s authorities, as part of bilateral agreements on vocational training
  • a public organisation within a specific training programme
  • a French or a foreign enterprise

3. Registration

Prior to any registration, you must consult the French Embassy / Consulate. They will:

  • establish a work placement agreement specifying the financial conditions of your training
  • contact the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provided your application is accepted

AFPA services can be put into action only if asked by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Only then will you take knowledge tests with a Carrier and Work Counsellor. That will determine your level and confirm your ability to follow the training.

AFPA services will appoint you to a training session, according to your availability. You will also need to have a medical examination.
Remember to obtain authorisation to access vocational training in France, valid for all of your training period.
